REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

INTRODUCTION

At TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd, we strive to provide high-quality catering equipment, appliances, and related products together with professional customer service. This Refund and Return Policy explains the conditions under which products may be returned, exchanged, repaired, or refunded.

By purchasing goods from TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

RETURNS POLICY

  • Customers may request a return within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery or collection.
  • All return requests must first be approved by TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd before goods are returned.
  • Returned products must:
  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and components
  • Be returned in the Original Packaging
  • Be accompanied by the original Invoice or proof of purchase
  • TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above conditions.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items may not qualify for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Products damaged through misuse or negligence
  • Used or installed equipment
  • Customized or special-order items
  • Products missing original packaging or accessories
  • Goods returned after the 7-day return period
  • Items damaged by incorrect installation or improper maintenance

REFUNDS

  • Approved refunds will only be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into the original purchaser’s bank account.
  • Refunds may take several Business Days to process depending on banking procedures.
  • Delivery, courier, installation, call-out, and handling charges may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
  • TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge a handling or restocking fee of up to 13% on approved returns.
  • No refunds will be issued without valid proof of purchase.

EXCHANGES

  • Defective or damaged products reported within 7 calendar days may qualify for exchange, inspection, repair, or replacement.
  • Exchanges are subject to inspection and approval by TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd.
  • Products found to be damaged due to misuse, improper handling, incorrect installation, or negligence will not qualify for exchange.
  • Exchange requests are subject to product availability.

DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED GOODS

  • Customers must inspect goods immediately upon delivery or collection.
  • Any shortages, defects, or damages must be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
  • If damage occurs during delivery arranged by TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd or its approved courier partners, the company may arrange replacement or repair once the damaged goods are returned and inspected.
  • TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd is not responsible for damage caused after delivery, improper use, or unauthorized transportation.

WARRANTY RETURNS

  1. Warranty claims are subject to the terms of the applicable product warranty.
  2. Warranty claims require:
  • Original Invoice or proof of purchase
  • Original serial numbers intact
  • Proper usage and maintenance of equipment
  1. The warranty does not cover:
  • Wear and tear
  • Incorrect installation
  • Abuse or misuse
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Lack of maintenance or cleaning
  1. Customers may be responsible for transportation or delivery costs relating to warranty repairs unless otherwise agreed.

COLLECTION AND DELIVERY OF RETURNS

  • Customers are responsible for safely packaging returned items.
  • Returned goods remain the Customer’s responsibility until received and inspected by TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd.
  • Delivery and collection costs for returns or repairs may apply.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

  • Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch or collection.
  • Special-order or customized products may not qualify for cancellation.
  • Cancellation fees may apply where costs have already been incurred.

PROCESSING OF RETURNS

  1. Once returned goods are received, they will be inspected by our technical or sales department.
  2. Customers will be notified regarding:
  • Approval of refund
  • Repair outcome
  • Replacement availability
  • Rejection of return request where applicable
  1. Processing times may vary depending on product type and inspection requirements.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TM Catering Equipment and Services Pty Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of business or income
  • Downtime or operational losses
  • Indirect or consequential damages arising from defective products or delayed repairs

Liability is limited to the original purchase price of the goods supplied.
